Remove the Background From An Image – 3 Free Resources

You have an image and you want to remove the background. (I am assuming you do not have Adobe Photoshop or other higher end photo editing software application). If you need a quick way to remove a background, without fancy software, here are your choices. Two are web pages, and one is a free PC software application you can download from the Windows Store. See YouTube Video the video is also posted at the bottom of this post!

Web Site: https://www.remove.bg/r/CvnSTAC3mB8edr3XGdWEY2xU This background removal site does and an incredible clean removal of background, however the free version limits the size of the photos you can use (12 Megapixels), and will only allow you to download an image  577 × 433 image size, vs the paid version which allows you to download images at high resolution  4000 × 3000 and 25 Megapixels. Depending on what you need the image for, the size may not matter. for example if I am using it here in my web post, a small image is usually fine. Use the slider to see the full and then the background removed image. This site also allows you to add your own image to your cutout or they have lots of fun options for you to choose from. If you are a Youtube creator and you need this for thumbnails, then this is the best site to use.

The second website Pixlr.com/background remover for background removal also includes some useful editing software options on their website. It offers Automatic and Free image background removal in just a couple of seconds! The AI-tools from Pixlr lets you remove backgrounds from selfies, profile pictures and others without the cumbersome manual work. You can remove the bg on several images at the same time, and you usually need to fine tune the results.

The Next option is software you can download to your Windows 10 or Mac computer, for free. It is called Photoscape X (the pro version is the paid version). http://x.photoscape.org/ Photoscape X does a great job of cutouts, and if edits or adjustments are needed it is easy and includes an undo button, that the web versions do not always offer. This is a great free photo editor that I have used for many years, and find that the free version does everything I need to edit and grade my photos.
